A few pairs of gloves from local legend Joe Hart have been through the workshop over the years but these are the brightest I can remember.
Thought I would treat them to a neon orange liner to make them pop 😎
Obligatory AR70 glass for protection and clarity.

We have had some fun and quirky items in for custom framing over the years, including a ZX Spectrum and Flip-flops but the first Boxing glove we have had in to work on. 🥊
Pretty chuffed with how it all came together. I went a little rogue with the addition of a printed back and lining as this was not in the original brief....but I think it really helps.

Looking forward to see what comes in next...

After delivering some printing and fitting some signage this morning, I had the pleasure of a private tour of @theangelgallery Broseley, Shropshire by the owners Mike & Ann.

They have a wonderful space where they are exhibiting an eclectic selection of paintings, sculpture, crafts and furniture pieces.

They are always interested in hearing from new creatives who may wish to exhibit.

They are hosting a craft fair this weekend, a great opportunity to go and check them out.

A few canvases to stretch this morning.
The lock downs seems to have ignited a desire to have a go at a getting creative.
Painting by design (numbers) can be a great way for any emerging artist not worry to much about the structure and just allows them to get some colour onto canvas. The advent of being able to have bespoke numbered layouts made from your own images means you end up with a familiar, recognisable result.

They are so full of life, you can get lost in the detail and find something new every time you study it.

This is a large format print that we printed using a 240g silk photo paper and framed using a matt white block moulding. Overall this piece is nearly 3ft square.

It was great to finally open up the store again yesterday. The best part was just seeing people again!! We saw existing customers and several new faces, all of which were able to shop safely and confidently.

It was a real mixed bag too.... Art students were getting a few bits ready to go back to year 10. Some office supplies needed topping up. We had new business start ups enquiring about #leaflets, #businesscards and #NCRpads. Artists prints and greeting cards to run off...and a very keen #stfc supporter with his collection of shirts, photos and prints memorabilia that he has finally got round to getting framed.

Let's hope for more of the same today!
